Application Details
- The area (potholes or patch) to be repaired is swept and thoroughly cleaned to remove free material, soil, dust, and water.
- Emulsion, which is supplied with ready mix asphalt, is applied to the bottom and sides of the pit with the help of a brush or roller and let stand for about 5 minutes.
- The material is poured into the pit and spread out with a shovel to cover the defective area, making a slight mound. After this process, asphalt is smoothed by hitting it with a shovel or similar tool.
- It is compacted using a hand rammer, compactor or roller.
