The high performance IS-SEAL 10 crack/joint filler bitumen is an elastic filling material produced by ISFALT to prevent deformations that may occur due to water or mechanical impact on pavements, it is resistant against extreme climatic conditions and heavy vehicle loads.
IS-SEAL 10 crack/joint filler bitumen is a hot applied bitumen-based filling material for crack repair and joint filling works whose elasticity and adhesion performance has been increased by modifying it with various additives. It is used effectively in the repair of joints created as required by the project on the surfaces and capillary or wide cracks caused by climatic conditions and vehicle loads.
IS-SEAL 10 crack/joint filler bitumen prevents deterioration in pavements that may occur due to water or mechanical impacts. It exhibits resistance against permanent deformation by maintaining its performance in high temperature differences, in increased humidity and under heavy traffic loads. This way, premature deformation of the pavements is prevented and the need for maintenance is reduced, providing cost and labor savings.

Application Details
- There must not be any loose material on the surface where the application will be made, it must be clean and dry. Dust, moisture and solvent content reduces the adhesion ability significantly.
- Application is made to the prepared surface with a suitable apparatus. The applied material temperature is let stand until it reaches the ambient temperature. If it is not desirable for it to stick to the objects that will pass over it, the finished surface should be sprinkled with fine dust or sand.
- The vessels used for heating must be clean. Any foreign substance (water, solvent, oil, fuel, etc.) that may be in the vessels disrupts the working safety and quality of the product.
- Occupational safety rules must be observed during the work.
