What does the EFQM Model entail?

The EFQM Model is a governance model, conceived by a team of industry professionals and academics under the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), and introduced globally in 1991. The EFQM Model forms a managerial structure, and offers support to organizations in supervising change, fortifying their position, and enhancing their performance.

The EFQM Model offers organizations a comprehensive view, helping people understand how managerial tools and methods can be used harmoniously and in a complementary way. The model establishes a guiding framework towards an organization's sustainability, based on their specific needs and operations. Studies have revealed that the EFQM Model bolsters the level of institutionalization by nearly 40%.
