Attaching great importance to Research and Development activities, İSFALT carries out such activities of its in collaboration with universities, TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey), KGM (General Directorate of Highways). The company further carries out works on new asphalt techniques by the mediation of its own R&D unit, and introduces new projects to the service of the society.

İSFALT has been holding TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 Certificate, as being the new version of the TSEN45001 standard that certifies the accreditation of our laboratory services, since January 2002. Results of all its experiments in the field of asphalt have thereby begun to be recognized officially.

In the international level, it gets the support of American Asphalt Institute, a reputable entity in the sector, for its research and development activities. İSFALT is the only Turkish member of this institute.

Asphalt Institute is an independent entity that operates in the form of the USA-based union of international bitumen, asphalt, and side-industrial firms. The main field of its operations includes increasing the quality and production efficiency of asphalt, conducting engineering researches, and creating solutions, organizing sectoral training activities, providing technical support to its affiliated firms, and helping them to solve their problems.
